Based in Portland, Cinema Project works to expand public access and engagement with avant-garde cinema. Screenings feature artists, curators, and scholars from around the world. Ranging from rhythmic poems to political critiques to hypnotic choreographies, the organization has presented more than a hundred programs of innovative film, from the present as well as the past, since its foundation in 2003.
